His presence was intoxicating before I even knew him. It was a captivating attraction and magnetic pull at first sight. Shoulders shaped like unexpected warmth, a small smile that promised a hidden sense of humour, and eyes like gravity.
You are a fleeting thought And a passing comment A closed wound and A finished chapter ❀ You live your life like Fireworks too close to the ground
Small, shaky smiles Folded clothes With hope tucked inside Each pocket Between each layer Placed gently in a suitcase
Every day I lament the shape your heart turned into. The way smooth edges decayed into jagged shards, and I could do nothing save for slashing open my naivety on the coarse exterior.
