Sticking to Your New Year's Resolution
We are 24 days into the new year. As the calendar is renewed, two-thirds of America plans to better themselves. Nearly 40 percent of people want to either eat healthier or get more exercise! Looking ahead into the calamitous future, only 25 percent stick with it after a month and about 8 percent complete their New Year’s Resolution. Vacation and Weight Management
I recently went on vacation with my family and I managed to not gain a single pound. Sure, if I went to the Olympic training center, this would not be much of a feat; however, we went to Michigan. Additionally, we ate out one to two times a day for 7 days. And still, I did not gain a pound. We ate ice cream, we ate pizza, we ate burgers, we drank drinks. I did not have a lot of water nor did I sleep very well. From eating habits alone, it seems like I should have gained 10 pounds!

Children and Weights
Coffee and weight training will stunt your growth; these are two fallacies that have lived long past their due. Now the former was created to keep kids away from caffeine, because let’s be honest, they probably don’t need extra energy. However, I can’t quite figure out the latter. Could be for the safety of the children; the weight room can be a dangerous place. It was often said that the growth plates will become fractured due to the forces exerted. In a careful environment and safe manner, this is not a problem. In fact, no evidence exists that suggest weightlifting inhibits a child’s growth, according to Dr. Feigenbuam and Dr. Baraki [article posted at bottom].

All About Bunnies
Believe it or not, rabbits are the most common household pet. Okay, don't believe that, it's a lie. However, rabbits are becoming increasingly more popular as pets. There are currently just under 50 recognized breeds of rabbits weighting from pounds to usually about 10-15. The heaviest rabbit was recorded at a solid 55 pounds. Naturally, he was elected as the president of the bunnies and started a campaign against being hunted.
