Seniors Enjoy Sex after Sixty
Sex has always been good, but as seniors, we have it perfected. Or should I admit that retirement has given us a new lease on life — that after 43 years, no expectations hinder our passion, no time limits constrain our activities, no interruptions temper our enthusiasm, and no regrets plague our past or influence our future.

Looking Into the Eyes of Age and Laughing
A 77-degree heat wave visited us yesterday. The birds provided music as I sat on the porch and watched our dog chase a chipmunk up a tree. She then sat at the bottom of the tree, warning her prey not to venture onto her turf or something would happen. The patches of snow melted visibly under the sun’s rays, announcing the change of seasons.

Traveling in the Present and Learning About the Past: Iowa, Amana Colonies:
Our visit to The Amana Colonies prompted us to investigate the historical and cultural background of its settlers to appreciate their culture. Until we gathered knowledge, we possessed a naïve comprehension of the dedication of the early residents, but once we understood, our visit gained significance.

Discovering the Meaning of Carpe Diem
When I called our financial consultant this week, I made a point after saying, “Hello, Kevin,” to quickly add, “Randy is alive and healthy. I simply have a question to ask.” He laughed, and I believe I may have heard a heavy sigh of relief on the other end of the phone.

Upstate New York — The Nature Around Every Turn Overwhelms the Senses
Upper New York presented a contrast to our prior experiences with The Big Apple. The scenery captivated us with unexpected pleasures. This rural area provided plush pastures with farm animals and agriculture. The hills were covered with various crops, and the grape vines climbed as far as the eyes could see, explaining why wineries littered the countryside.

Weave Poetry into Narratives
Readers may not be able to identify what is missing when a narrative lacks figurative language, but they know something is missing. Without imagery, words sit on the page like a puddle beside the road leaving the reader wanting more to carry them away. Puddles remain because they do not have enough energy to flow into the storm drain and the best they can hope for is to evaporate into a vapor and eventually cease to exist. Unknown authors are puddles.

Maryland - A Prestitious State Filled with Pride and History.
In larger cities, finding an RV park can be difficult, and we have discoverd sometimes they are little more than parking lots. So when we drove into Cherry Hills RV Park we were excited at what greeted us. Sure, I had read about the amenities, however; what is written in an advertisement doesn't always coorespond with reality. Cherry Hills lived up to the expectations.

Furbabies are Family and Want to Be With Us
When we walk into the garage and open the car door, the dogs jump in. If we are packing the RV, the have different ways of responding, but they both make it clear they are ready to travel. Cisco jumps up the steps and becomes a permanent fixture in the front window until it is time to drive away. Dagney attaches herself to my side to make sure we don't forget to take her along. Because they are family, there are few times we do not include them into our travel plans.

Cracker Barrel, a Place to Eat, Shop, Relax, and Sleep
Fifty-six days on the road, yes 56! Each day planned out and a reservation waiting for us at the end of each day. Then we threw caution to the wind and drove thinking so far we have had no problem getting a site so let's just wing it and see where we end up. Everyone loves an adventure, right?

Butterfly RV Park Provides a a Central Point for Philly and Atlantic City
By the time we made it to New Jersey on our trek across the US, we had been on the road 46 days. Randy needed a break from driving the motorhome so we parked at Butterfly RV Park in New Jersey with the plan of driving to the attractions and leaving the motorhome parked. Honestly, I was so fixated on the attractions in the area that I didn't give much attention to where we were staying. What we found upon arriving was a pleasant surprise.
