Be Loving and Bee Loving
You and I have had disappointments, mishaps and made mistakes. That is all part of the human condition. Events that upset, or distress us, can result in us becoming despondent, or even depressed. There may be even more serious consequences. Hopefully however, we are able to learn and grow from whatever has happened to us. And, of course, the bad times help us to understand how great the good times can be.

Beyond Stupid
The talented and beautiful dancers I photographed in their Gold Coast dance studio in the above photo, are to provide a contrast to the not so lovely adjectives and nouns I have used to identify with what seems to be a growing number of people. The models themselves are all lovely and intelligent people.

The Emperor's New Clothes
The Emperor’s New Clothes Hail King Trump ‘”The Emperor's New Clothes" (Danish: Kejserens nye klæder) is a short tale written by Danish author Hans Christian Andersen, about two weavers who promise an emperor a new suit of clothes that they say is invisible to those who are unfit for their positions, stupid, or incompetent – while in reality, they make no clothes at all, making everyone believe the clothes are invisible to them. When the emperor parades before his subjects in his new "clothes", no one dares to say that they do not see any suit of clothes on him for fear that they will be seen as stupid. Finally a child cries out, "But he isn't wearing anything at all!"’

Proofreading Strategies
Proofreading Strategies Tips to Help You Produce Error Free Work Reading any document that has grammatical, spelling, or other mistakes is not a pleasant exercise. What I find particularly annoying is the misuse of; “there”, “their” and “they’re”; and, “your’ and “you’re”. However, we should not automatically assume that all perpetrators guilty of these words misuse all lack a basic knowledge of English grammar. We all on occasions make mistakes, and I, for one, have been guilty on numerous occasions.

Stupid Old Men With Conspiracy Theories
Stupid Old Men With Conspiracy Theories With this self-isolation we are all suffering, I am spending too much time on Facebook. I purposefully do not have the app on my phone, nor do I subscribe to getting notifications from the site when I am not directly accessing it. Up until a few weeks ago I accessed the site for only a couple of times each day, but recently I have found myself perusing the site more often and for longer. I have put this down to being locked up inside more than I used to be, but it is a trend I must try to diminish.

The Trump Trio
What do you do when you have too much time on your hands? Well, one answer is to write poetry. And, what better subject is there than Donald Trump? Here I have a sonnet and two limericks I have written. The sonnet is "Ode to Trump" and the limericks are, "Trump the Skunk" and "The Tragedy of Trump".

Make Your Own Hand Sanitiser
Popular Opinion – Buy it. It’s cheap. Why bother spending many hours researching the active ingredients in a product and the ways in which it may be manufactured when it is normally readily available and relatively inexpensive to purchase?
