Seven Day Trial
My friend recommended me to a gym and I was given the opportunity to try the gym for free, for seven days, no strings attached. At first, we laughed it off. She just needed names to sign people up, and we both knew I'd never actually end up going. I'm just not the gym sort.

Booking Your Life
I love reading; you'll rarely find me in a situation where there isn't a book either in my hand or in my bag. One question I get a lot is, "How do you get so much reading done?" This is something I've spent a lot of time thinking about, since most of my life has been trying to find time to do all of the reading I want to do. Because of this, I've come up with many tricks you can use to get more reading done.

I Love Family Game Night
We never really had family game night when I was younger. Yes, we played the odd game, but it wasn't a full-family occasion. My family has always been close, and with my siblings and I getting older, and myself moving out to go to school, we've become even more tight-knit. It started with quick games of Scrabble after dinner or, every once in a while, playing a game we dug up from the basement or something I was gifted at a birthday party or at Easter or Christmas with our extended family. Now, family game night is common in our household. We all gather around the kitchen table with snacks and drinks and play our favourites: Monopoly, Life, Clue, and my new personal favourite, Bob Ross: Art of Chill.

Time management is one of the most important skills you can have as a student. When you're jumping from class to class, then trying to get to cheer practice, work a part-time job, and somehow fit a social life in there, time management becomes an absolute necessity.

Writing Science Fiction
I am by no means an expert at writing science fiction; I have only just started writing my first science fiction novel, but I have done a lot of research and practice to get me to this point. Science fiction is a genre that I steered away from for most of my life because I didn't think I would like it - I thought it was too science-y, and didn't have relatable characters or plots that I would find interesting.

On Rekindling a Lost LoveTop Story - March 2018
Three years ago, I would have laughed in your face if you had told me I would be studying languages at a university less than an hour away from my hometown. I would have found it absolutely hilarious if you told me I hadn't sang, really sang, for two years.

My Journey With Noah
My family purchased our 4-month old African Grey on June 18, 2017. He had little black eyes, a short red tail, and the tiniest of chirps. Noah cuddled in my lap the entire car ride home, and I was immediately in love with this tiny creature who weighed less than one pound.
