Chaos, Ripley, Jorja, and Opie

My Lovely Puppy, Chaos

All my life I've grown up with big dogs. Granted I'm only 18-years-old at the moment. And for 14 and a half years, I wanted a dog I could call mine. This last November, I finally got my dog, Ripley. She is a German Shepherd mix with I don't know what, but she is so cute. I love her so much. I love Jorja and Opie as well. But if you read the subtitle, there are four names. Sadly a couple of weeks ago I had to put down a 14/15-year-old red nose pitbull. Chaos was a very good-looking dog and he was the most cuddly and sweetest dog. Then came Jorja who thinks she runs the house and doesn't like other dogs whatsoever. It sucks but we manage not to have any dogs fights.

Some people say that four dogs is too much—or even two or three dogs is too much. But I still think about Chaos and wish he was here. Sometimes, I hear his bark and I know it's not him but I smile anyways. We had to put Chaos down because for the past couple of months he was just miserable and wasn't all there in the head. It was painful to wake up in the morning knowing what we had to do that day. I didn't want to get out of bed. But my brother, cousin, and me all went to be there for him. Gladly he passed away peacefully and didn't fight it. But it really f**ken sucks to be right there when someone or something takes their last breath. It was really hard, especially for my brother because Chaos was his. And for the past couple of weeks my brother wasn't able to spend as much time as he would have liked with Chaos.

I'll never forget him. I can't. Because Opie has Chaos' spunk, Ripley has his weird walk, and Jorja has his cuddly-ness.

But at the end of the day, I'm going to spend as much time as I can with all my dogs, especially Ripley because when that day comes—hopefully not for years and years to come, knock on wood—I would like to have my best friend to be my happiest one of all.

These are my two babies that get along so well.

Apparently, this is the queen of the house.
