FOREVER WILD EXOTIC ANIMAL SANCTUARY

Words cannot describe how amazing this place is. It’s a little rescue and rehabilitation center located in Phelan, CA, and it is the home to a variety of exotic animals that were once abused, neglected, abandoned, or illegally obtained. Not only can you visit this location and it is a family-friendly environment, but you can also get the opportunity to feed these animals and learn more about them and how they got there. They have animals ranging from lions, tigers, bears, horses, a sloth, birds, monkeys, and so much more! It is a wonderful learning experience for anyone, and I would highly recommend everyone look into it and see what they are all about. I personally do not like to go to zoos and support that type of environment, and I feel that many of you also feel the same way in regards to stolen animals being shown off for amusement. I LOVE supporting Forever Wild, because all of their animals are rescued, protected, and taken care of since they are not able to survive on their own. I wish there was more space for them to move around at the end of the day, but looking at the big picture of the entire situation, without the gracious help of these volunteers, these abused, neglected, abandoned, and illegally obtained animals may not have made it alive another day. If it wasn't so far from my house, I would love to be one of the wonderful volunteers that they have. I hope all of you can go support them and be able to experience such beauty! I recommend taking the guided tour in order to learn a little history and background of the animals and how they got there.

Not only is this such a fun experience for all ages, it is INEXPENSIVE. Nowadays, zoos are overpriced in order to generate finances to take care of these animals that are being obtained in such environment, and it is not guaranteed that you will be able to see these animals depending on whether they are asleep, in their little homes, or just not in the mood! Zoos are also not very interactive, and you have to see these animals from so far away while a million other people are trying to see them as well. Whereas, at Forever Wild, it is soooooo cheap, accessible on Groupon for even more discounts, the animals are out most of the time especially since there is more than one tiger, and it is so much more interactive. It is never overly crowded either, which makes the experience well worth it.

I would highly advise calling in advance to make sure they are offering the extreme feed before making the drive out there (sometimes they do not offer it due to weather or health of the animals), but regardless, they still do the general and guided tours (appointment is required for guided tours). The location of the facility is located off a dirt path, basically in the middle of nowhere, but listen to your GPS and all will be fine!

If you want a first glimpse of the amazing animals over at Forever Wild, please follow them on Instagram. They post pictures of the animals on a daily and also showcase their events.

I hope I was able to convince you all to take a chance and visit this amazing rehabilitation center. I promise that you will not regret it after being able to experience such an interactive moment with these wonderful animals.

Please visit their website to learn more about what they are all about!

There is also a Groupon for this location for the guided or general tours attached here!
