Brutal Honesty
I think the first thing is to acknowledge who you are no matter what. See, in todays society, it's really hard to feel good about yourself. Why? Well, how many times have you heard that you are special? That you are going to change the world, that you have the most beautiful face, that people can't understand your genius, or God knows what else. How many times have you scrolled on Instagram for hours in your bed and couldn't help, but think what a boring and ugly life you have compared to all these other people who all seam to be in fucking Bahamas. That perfect crystal clear water that is missing from your Instagram feed so much or the damn turtles. Let me tell you something, if a studio would ever make up a dream set (Maldives beach) and charge for the photo there would be a one month waiting list for the fake photo with the little lights.

#OCD #Sucidal #Depression #Anxiety
These are some of the "#" that run free on social media. Now we all learned from experience that the more hashtags you put, more people see the post. So naturally, people started putting random hashtags to posts that don't even have any relevance to what is in the picture, just so more people see the post and increase the likes. The problem, in my opinion, is when you start associating yourself with these disorders that are more serious than people realize. But in order to realize why you shouldn't associate yourself with these things, you have to understand them and how serious they are. So let's start explaining them.

The Man Behind the Transylvanian Vampire: A Place Worth Visiting
Who was Vlad? The Legend It all started with a book written by Bram Stoker. In this book, he wrote about a vicious blood-sucking creature that would hide from the sun, sleep in coffins, and be pale as snow: the classic vampire that inspired so many others to write about these immortal creatures and develop the story in a more fashionable manner that would attract the public. As you well know, in the modern days it seems rather cool to be a vampire, and it inspires a lot of Halloween costumes. But you would be surprised to know that he didn't really know who Vlad Tepes was. He was inspired by Emily Gerard's article about the superstitions of Transylvania published in 1885, not the voivode.

The Relationship Status
Someone told me once the quote, "it is what it is," and I never really got along with it because I believe that you shouldn't take whatever bullshit is thrown at you and just accept it. Life is a journey for sure, but it doesn't have to be a war zone. You will have to step up one day and say what's on your mind and how you can FIX it because if you nurture it inside your soul it will only start growing roots and probably leaving scars for life.
